People love the idea of things. They love novelty, the option, the prospect of doing something different. But when the rubber meets the road, far fewer people are willing, or ready, to execute.

So if you have a destinations you’ve been dying to visit, plan the trip. Take it solo. Bring your camera and take those photographs. Meet new people. Take the excursion. Try the food. Lounge on the beach. Dip your toe in the water. Do it all alone. You might surprise yourself. You might realize you love your own company. You might realize you had it in you all along.
